Early Morning Fire Breaks Out In Downtown Aurora

Fourth Street will be closed most of the day.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Area firefighters received an early wake up call on Friday morning.

Multiple units were called to a structure fire on the 100 block of Fourth Street in downtown Aurora around 1:38 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters encountered heavy fire showing from the building.

It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured in the fire.

According to Dearborn County Dispatch, Fourth Street will be closed for most of the day. 

Responding agencies include Aurora, Lawrenceburg, Greendale, Hogan Township, Moores Hill, and Rising Sun.
