(Harrison, Oh.) - It will not be long before crews begin the Dry Fork Road Overpass Improvement Project.
The project calls for four traffic lanes in addition to a dedicated, left-turn lane accessing Interstate 74 eastbound. The expansion will make it possible to attract more investment and improve the overall quality of life for the Greater Harrison area, according to the Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce.
During the project, the Dry Fork overpass will be closed for nine months while the new bridge is being constructed. Ramps are expected to remain open through construction.
The proposed detour will utilize the existing ramps and the adjacent interchanges (WB On I-74, u-turn at the New Haven interchange and then EB on I-74).
