Donate Items For Tornado Victims At Ivy Tech Thursday

Donations delivered to Ivy Tech Community College's Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus today will go to Matthew 25 Ministries.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - You can help victims of a Memorial Day tornado outbreak in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Donations of cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items will be accepted at Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus on Thursday, May 30. Your donations can be dropped off at the third floor reception desk until 3:00 p.m.

Collected items will be taken to Matthew 25 Ministries for transport to the Dayton area.

The National Weather Service says eight tornadoes hit Ohio Monday night.  Most of those hit around the Dayton area, including two that were EF-3 tornadoes.  Another EF-3 hit Celina [[ seh-LINE-uh ]], which is about 55 miles northwest of Dayton.  One person in Celina died.
