If you were affected by flooding earlier this year and still need assistance, help isn't too far away.
(Aurora, Ind.) – The Disaster Recovery Center in Aurora is moving to a new location.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency and Indiana Department of Homeland Security opened a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) last week to assist area residents impacted by Ohio River flooding in February and March.
The DRC was initially opened at the Aurora Lions Club, but starting Friday, June 22, the DRC will move to the Dearborn County Emergency Management building at 401 W. High Street in downtown Lawrenceburg.
The center will be open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. until further notice.
