(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a man who fled from deputies on Tuesday afternoon.

Ryan L. McIntosh, 34, of Harrison, was located on Jeb Drive in Bright on Wednesday afternoon and taken into custody without incident.

Deputies attempted to arrest McIntosh on Tuesday near the intersection of Stateline and Jamison roads after learning there was a Body Attachment for Failure to Pay Child Support.

During the attempted arrest, McIntosh allegedly resisted the deputy’s attempt to handcuff him and there was a brief struggle before McIntosh broke away and fled the scene.

According to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, McIntosh was believed to be in possession of a handgun at the time of the attempted arrest.

Sheriff Shane McHenry tells Eagle Country 99.3 that he expects more charges to be filed against McIntosh from Tuesday’s incident.
