Dearborn Co. Republican Party Cancels Lincoln Day Dinner

Party chairman Jim Thatcher says the dinner will be rescheduled for later this year.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Republican Party is cancelling their annual Lincoln Day Dinner.

The event originally planned for May 1 will not go on due to concerns regarding the Coronavirus situation.

"Out of caution for our party members and supporters in this very fluid environment, we believe this is the best course of action," said Jim Thatcher, chair of the Dearborn County Republican Party. 

Thatcher added that the event will be rescheduled for later this year.
