Dearborn County remains in red status for COVID-19 spread.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Health Department has released its latest COVID-19 Morbidity and Mortality Report.
According to the report, 624 county residents were tested for COVID-19 between January 11-17, down from 732 a week prior.
Of the tests performed, 351 came back negative while 273 were positive.
Dearborn County remains in red status on the Indiana State Department of Health’s color-coded map with a 7-day all tests positivity rate of 17.84 percent, up from 15.69 percent a week prior week. Dearborn County isn't alone as 72 of the state's 92 counties are also in red status.
According to the DCHD, 92 individuals age 51-80 tested positive for the virus over the past seven days, the most of any age group.
There were three COVID-19 related deaths reported in the county between January 11-17.
To date, Dearborn County has reported 4,613 positive cases, 19,460 tests, and 44 deaths.
