Daylight Saving Time Starts Sunday

The time change will give everyone one less hour of sleep.

(Undated) – Clocks will spring forward this weekend.

Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 10 at 2:00 a.m. Clocks should be set forward by one hour on Sunday.

Daylight Saving decreases the amount of sunlight in the morning but allows more light in the evening. It will run through Sunday, November 3. 

Along with setting clocks forward, fire chiefs recommend homeowners to change their smoke alarm batteries this weekend.
