(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Dearborn County Water Rescue made two rescues over the weekend.

New Trenton Fire, Harrison Fire, and Dearborn County Water Rescue were dispatched to Longnecker Rd. for a water rescue on Saturday. One person was rescued after they were unable to get out of a trailer and to the road. Another rescue was made on Sunday when a driver was located in high water on Hueseman Road near Texas Gas Road.

No injuries were reported.

Following the rescues, the agency is urging residents to obey high water signs whether traveling by vehicle or foot.

In a social media post Monday, Dearborn County Water Rescue referenced some adolescents on the George Street Bridge. There are barricades up for the community's safety due to a strong underflow. The agency is urging parents and caregivers to keep their children away from the bridge and the water as it is only 56 degrees, and unsanitary to swim in.
