Closing The Book: Superintendent To Retire

(Aurora, Ind.) - The superintendent of South Dearborn Community Schools is planning to retire.

Thomas Book has been at the district for several years. He announced earlier this month he will retire in July.

There is no word yet on when the search for a new superintendent will begin for the district with enrollment of nearly 3,000 students.

A job posting on the South Dearborn Community Schools website shows that a new superintendent would begin on July 2, 2012.
