City of Aurora Opens 2022 Facade Improvement Matching Grant Program

The city anticipates funding 10 projects this year.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Do you have a property within the City of Aurora that needs a facelift?

The City of Aurora announced Wednesday that the 2022 Aurora Façade Improvement Matching Grant (FIMG) Program is now open, and applications are being accepted.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m.

Properties within the City of Aurora can apply for grants to help cover costs for project such as repainting or refinishing exterior siding, repairing windows, roofs, signage, and other repairs.

The easiest way to know if your property is eligible is to review the last three digits of the parcel identification number on your tax bill. Properties in the City of Aurora limits end in 003.

The City of Aurora will match up to 50 percent of project expenses up to $10,000. Furthermore, the city anticipates funding around 10 projects this year.

Project awards will be announced at the Monday, May 9 council meeting.
