Cincinnati Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

(Franklin County, Ind.) - On Sunday, June 1 at approximately 2:54 p.m., deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of a motorcycle accident on State Road 252, near Raymond Road.

Deputies discovered that Jeffery D. Ogle, age 67 of Cincinnati, was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson westbound on S.R. 252. For reasons unknown, Ogle lost control of the motorcycle and went off of the north side of the roadway, striking a fence. Ogle was ejected from the vehicle.

Ogle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. S.R. 252 was closed for approximately 1 ½ hours while Deputies investigated.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Drewersburg Volunteer Fire Department, Letts E.M.S., and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. The accident remains under investigation.
