Brookville Man Arrested On Methamphetamine Charges

(Brookville, Ind.) – A Brookville man has been arrested on methamphetamine charges.

Brookville Police executed a search warrant at the home of William Darrell Wooton on August 31.

During the search, police say they discovered methamphetamine, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, marijuana and multiple digital scales.

Wooton was taken into custody and charged with Conspiracy to Deal in Methamphetamine with Enhancing Circumstances (level 4 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine with Enhancing Circumstances (level 5 felony), Possession of Marijuana (class B misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (class C misdemeanor).

If convicted, Wooton faces up to 12 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
