Broken Down Semi Closes US 50

(Aurora, Ind.) – Motorists making their way on U.S. 50 through Aurora had to find a detour or wait in a long backup Monday morning.

At about 6:00 a.m., a semi truck broke down in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 near Conwell Street, the site of a construction project where only one lane of the two lane highway is open.

Dispatchers said the truck reportedly had a busted air line.

The truck was moved from the highway at about 7:30 a.m.
