Bright Community Festival Returns July 23-24

The event serves as one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Bright Fire and EMS.

(Bright, Ind.) – Hold the sirens, one of the biggest parties in Eagle Country returns this month.

The Bright Community Festival happens Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24 at Bright Firehouse Station 1 on Salt Fork Road.

Festivities will take place from 6:00 p.m. to midnight on July 23, including a BBQ dinner, games, rides, giant beer garden, and live music from the Channel Kats and The Amy Sailor Band.

Saturday events include the annual car show at the Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church, 25365 Stateline Road at 9:00 a.m. The Bright Community Parade takes off at 3:00 p.m.

The festival will open at 4:00 and stay open until midnight. Saturday’s festivities feature the popular chicken dinner and live music from South Bound Sound and the Danny Frazier Band.

The Bright Community Festival serves as one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Bright Volunteer Fire Department and Bright EMS.

The Bright Volunteer Fire Department services the largest geographical area in Dearborn County and is privately funded.
