(Aurora, IN) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Olympus Painting LLC is scheduled to begin a bridge painting project on U.S. 50 over Hogan Creek on or after Wednesday, April 1, in Aurora.

Work will take place on U.S. 50 just east of the State Road 350 intersection and is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting. During the project, motorists can expect lane shifts using temporary barrier wall and single turn lane closures on eastbound and westbound U.S. 50.

This project is part of a contract awarded to Olympus in July 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
