(Covington, KY) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a bridge maintenance project on the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge on Tuesday, April 1.
Crews will be working between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This work will require a single right northbound lane closure on the bridge from north of West Fourth Street in Covington to the Kentucky/Ohio state line. The sidewalk located on the east portion of the bridge will also be closed during these working hours.
Pedestrians are encouraged to use the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge between Kentucky and Ohio as an alternate route. These closures are in place to provide a safe area for a bridge snooper vehicle to access the bridge piers.
This maintenance project is expected to be completed Tuesday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m.
