Boneham Likely To Get Libertarian Nod

Rupert Boneham

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Former reality television star Rupert Boneham will get the Libertarian Party of Indiana’s nomination for governor.

The winner of 2004’s “Survivor: All-Stars” announced last year he would run for governor in 2012.

No other party member challenged Boneham, an Indianapolis resident, for the nomination.

The party will announce its candidates for governor, U.S. Senate, and other offices during its convention at an Indianapolis hotel on Saturday.

Republican Mike Pence and Democrat John Gregg are also hoping to succeed Mitch Daniels as Indiana governor. They are each unopposed in the state’s May 8 primary.
