Batesville Tool & Die Recognizes Internship and Co-op Students at Awards Ceremony

Eight area students were recognized.

(Batesville, In) - Batesville Tool & Die held an awards ceremony for all their high school students in their Internship and Co-op programs for 2023-2024.

The program Coordinator Toby Walsman recognized these students for their time management skills, hard work, dedication to education, and participation in extra-curricular activities. These students did all of this while working in their technical field of choice.

Josh Bischoff from Batesville and Breck Bohman from Franklin County signed a LOI from Batesville Tool & Die to continue their education while working full-time.

“I am so proud of all these students for taking their first step forward in their future careers. They have all performed at a high level for us in their technical fields and will all have a great impact in the future of Manufacturing,” said Walsman.

 Students that were recognized:

(Sr.) Ben Heile, Oldenburg Academy, Internship in the field of Tooling/Engineering.

(Sr.) Jacob Cornelius, Oldenburg Academy, Internship in the field of Tooling/Engineering.

(Jr.) Mason Jones, Batesville High School / IVY Tech Community College, Co-op in the field of Industrial Maintenance.

(Jr.) Carter Wehr, Batesville High School / IVY Tech Community College, Co-op in the field of Machining.

(Jr.) Andrew Bedinghaus, Ross High School/Great Oaks Career Center, Co-op in the field of Machining.

(Sr.) Randall Hampton, Milan High School/Southeastern Career Center, Co-op in the field of Weld Fabrication.

(Sr.) Breck Bohman, Franklin County High School/Whitewater Career Center, Co-op in the field of Industrial Maintenance.

(Sr.) Josh Bischoff, Batesville High School/IVY Tech Community College, Co-op in the field of Automation.
