(Aurora, Ind.) - Fourth graders at Aurora Elementary School have accomplished an "epic" reading feat.

The Aurora students were entered into a competition on Epic, which is an online reading program tracking students' reading. For the year, they placed in the top 10 against students across the country, says fourth grade teacher Dan Rogers.

They read over 7,000 books during the contest.

Epic is generously providing the whole fourth grade class with an ice cream party, 40 swag packs, and 40 free subscriptions to read on Epic all summer long.

"AES is incredibly proud of the students and all of their hard work. Way to go, fourth-grade!" exclaims Rogers.
