Aurora House Fire Deemed Accidental

Several area departments responded to the incident on September 2.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Aurora Fire has released information regarding a house fire that took place earlier this month.

Aurora, Hogan, Lawrenceburg, and Greendale firefighters were dispatched to a single-family residence in the 100 block of Forest Avenue on the evening of September 2.

Upon arrival, Aurora firefighters encountered a fire that had extended from the corner of the home. After approximately an hour, the fire was extinguished.

No injuries were reported, and no adjoining structures were damaged.

The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
