Aurora Elementary Robotics Teams Qualify for State Competition

They will compete at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Two Aurora Elementary School robotics teams have earned a trip to Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis.

AES has three robotics teams which placed first, second and third (out of 31 teams) at a recent tournament held at AES on February 21. of competing at the State Robotics Competition on Saturday, March 14th at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

The first and second place teams received a bid to compete at the State Robotics Competition on Saturday, March 14. 

The Aurora Red Devils team actually first earned their state bid at a tournament last December. The Aurora Fourth-Grade Team will now be joining them.

The teams will be competing in the Vex IQ RC "Mix and Match" game. They had to build robots that can move and stack pins and beams within an 6' x 8' field.
