After Governor Holcomb's address, Mayor Mollaun wanted to make sure Lawrenceburg community members are up to date on current information.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Mayor Kelly Mollaun dropped by the Eagle's Nest this morning to talk with Bubba Bo on updates surrounding COVID-19.
After Governor Eric Holcomb announced some major changes, Mayor Mollaun wanted to make sure Eagle Country is fully aware of how this affects Lawrenceburg.
Per Holcomb, due to sanitization issues, all playgrounds in the city limit will be shut down. However, this does not include parks.
Mollaun wanted to remind the community that Lawrenceburg remains open for business.
"We put in a Stay-at-Home work policy, where 95% of employees are actually at home, other than public safety, police, fire, and EMS," says Mayor Mollaun.
During these trying times, it is vital that community members are looking out for one another.
"I just want to encourage people to check on your neighbors. We are saying that every time we get an opportunity to talk to the public. All of our employees here know that. Check on your neighbors especially if they are the elderly ones or ones that have some physical challenges."
