(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Dearborn Adult Center is getting a fresh start under new leadership.

One of the newest developments at the DAC is the opening of a new food pantry that is expected to start next week. When the food pantry opens, any senior that needs a little extra can stop down and get some free food. The food pantry is in collaboration with the Clearinghouse.

The overall energy at the Dearborn Adult Center seems to be back after a lengthy year of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maddin says area seniors can expect a good time when they come to the DAC.

“We’re trying to make things happen for them,” said Maddin. “We’re refocused, the energy there is now amazing again. They’ll have a lot of fun.”

There are plenty of events coming up soon.
