Animals Perish In Barn Fire

A barn on Chipman Road near Moores Hill burned Monday morning.

(Moores Hill, Ind.) - Farm animals died in a fire early Monday morning near Moores Hill.

Firefighters had to battle the flames and the cold as they responded to the barn fire on the 13600 block of Chipman Road.

Departments from Moores Hill, Dillsboro, and Hogan Township responded.

It is unclear how many animals died in the fire. A cause is under investigation by Moores Hill Fire Department.
