American Legion Post 239 Memorial Day Parade Happens May 27

The parade will be followed by a service at Greendale Cemetery.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The American Legion Post 239 in Lawrenceburg will host their annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 27.

Participants are asked to gather at the Dearborn County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m. to line up for the parade, which starts at 10:00.

The parade route will leave the Dearborn County Courthouse and travel east on High Street left onto Walnut Street, ending at St. Lawrence Church.

Following the parade, a Memorial Day service will be held at the Greendale Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. at Soldiers Circle. Judge James Humphrey will serve as the guest speaker.

After the ceremony, all are invited to an open house at the American Legion Post 239 on 2nd Street in Lawrenceburg for refreshments.
