Aircare Called To Boone Co. Accident

(Richwood, Ky.) - Four people were hurt in a crash on Dixie Highway in Richwood Wednesday afternoon.

 

A southbound GMC Sierra pickup truck collided with a northbound Hyundai Elantra passenger car near Chambers Road a little after 3:30 p.m. The truck then struck a tree as the car spun in the road.

 

One victim was taken to the hospital by aircare, while three others were transported by ambulance. Their names and conditions have not been released.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
