(Indianapolis, Ind.) - The Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) announced a total of 53 local officials that received continuing education credits in the Institute for Excellence classes. Multiple Excellence Certifications are available and range from 30 to 240 credit hours.

Dearborn County Council Member, Elizabeth Morris, is one of the individuals to receive Gold Masters Honors.

To receive the Gold Masters Pin, a student must complete 125 hours of coursework.

The AIC helps county government officials and employees by offering classes, geared specifically to county government, to continue their educational goals. These classes assist in becoming more efficient, solving tough problems, and finding the resources they need to serve their constituents well. This in turn will allow the educated officials to be successful within the public service sector.

The Institution believes that education is a large part of a smooth running government, and will continue to help these government officials have ample education opportunities.
