(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The anticipation is growing as a new diner gets closer to opening in Lawrenceburg.

The 4Speed on 50 Diner was recently delivered to the auto park along U.S. 50.

Owner Steve Caudill tells Eagle Country 99.3 that there is still plenty of work to be done before the diner can open its doors to customers. Work will continue over the next three or four weeks, followed by the delivery and installation of equipment and furniture.

Once those crews have finished their work, the next phase of the project will include finishing the grading around the building, concrete walkways, dumpster pad, landscaping and asphalt.

Caudill added that he has partnered with the owners of Proof 124 and Hoosier Icehouse to operate the restaurant. A team is already in place and some additional hiring is expected at a later date.

Plans for the menu are also underway. The plan is to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, the diner will not operate as a 24 hour establishments.

The target opening date is late June or early July, according to Caudill.
