(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The 3rd Annual Cruisin’ to a Cure Car Show in Lawrenceburg had good weather and a great turnout Sunday.
Organizer Logan Lawrence says there were 450 cars registered in the show lining Walnut and High Streets. Car enthusiasts from eight states came and registered their cars in the show.
Lawrence, a Lawrenceburg High School graduate and first-year student at Purdue University, says the event raised around $23,000 to $24,000 for the ALS Association, but monies are still being counted.
“Wow I really don’t know where to start. For some reason this year’s show meant a little extra for me, maybe because doing it while away from home at school and still have so many supporters. We had 450 registered cars at the show. There are so many great people in the car world it’s unbelievable,” Lawrence posted on Facebook.
