Switz. Co. Stars Thomas, Breeck Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

Rising Sun's Maddi Wilson was also among the weekly award winners.

(Vevay, Ind.) - Switzerland County's Aleiah Thomas and Damien Breeck highlight the latest Ohio River Valley Conference report, which features three weeks of play.

The ORVC report for the weeks of December 16-January 4 was released on Wednesday.

Switzerland County’s Aleiah Thomas was named the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 16-21.

Thomas averaged 19 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in two games.

To date, Thomas is the ORVC’s leading scorer at 18.9 points per game.

For the week of December 30-January 4, the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week is Maddi Wilson. The Lady Shiners star played five games, averaging 11,8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.6 steals.

The ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week for December 16-21 went to Jac-Cen-Del star Wyatt Day. The Eagles star totaled 26 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals in two games.

During the week of December 30-January 4, Damian Breeck stood out above the others. The Pacers star earned weekly honors by averaging 20 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.6 steals over three games.
