Both individuals are facing multiple felony offenses.
Jason Cutshall and Lenora Robbins.
(Jennings County, Ind.) - Jennings County Sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop after observing a traffic violation on Thursday afternoon.
The driver was identified as Jason Cutshall, 50, of North Vernon. During the course of the investigation, deputies located approximately 31 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
Information obtained during the traffic stop led to obtaining a search warrant for a residence in the 920 block of East Buckeye Street in North Vernon.
Upon executing the search warrant, deputies made contact with Lenora Robbins, 58, of North Vernon. During the search of the residence, K-9 Creed located an additional 34 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, syringes, controlled substances, and items commonly associated with the distribution of methamphetamine.
As a result of the investigation, Jason Cutshall and Lenora Robbins were arrested and transported to the Jennings County Jail.
Both individuals are currently being held on the following preliminary charges:
- Dealing in Methamphetamine – Level 2 Felony
- Possession of Methamphetamine – Level 3 Felony
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Level 6 Felony
- Possession of a Syringe – Level 6 Felony
- Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class A Misdemeanor
